Quality & Traceability for Growers, Farmers & Distributors

Quality, Traceability & Compliance

Reliable products you can trust — from farm to distributor

At DCT, we understand that growers, farmers, and distributors need more than just good results — they need confidence. Confidence that the product they buy is consistent, safe, and produced under controlled conditions.

That’s why our quality approach is built on:

  • order traceability

  • batch traceability

  • recipe / production sheets for every product

  • real-time production verification

  • in-process testing for key products

  • strict contamination prevention

  • BioGro registration with long-standing experience

  • barcode readiness for POS systems

1. Quality Policy

We are committed to consistent quality, safe manufacturing, and transparency in every product we supply.

2. Order Traceability

Every order we receive is assigned a unique internal order number (separate from the batch number). This order number follows the order through its entire life cycle, from:

  • order placement

  • production scheduling

  • batch assignment

  • packaging

  • dispatch

  • delivery

This provides full visibility and accountability for every customer order.

3. Batch Numbering & Production Traceability

Every product batch we produce has a unique batch number. This allows us to track:

  • production date

  • batch formulation

  • quality checks performed

  • dispatch and distribution details

While we do not trace every raw material back to source, our batch numbering ensures production transparency and accountability.

4. Recipe & Production Sheets

Every product we manufacture has a dedicated recipe sheet (production sheet). These sheets include:

  • batch number

  • ingredient list

  • ingredient quantities

  • production instructions

During manufacturing, each step is followed and ticked off to confirm accuracy and consistency. Once complete, the production sheet is entered into our system, creating a recorded manufacturing history for each batch.

5. Strict Contamination Prevention

We maintain strict controls on what is allowed into our facility to protect product integrity and prevent cross-contamination. This applies to all restricted compounds, raw materials, and production processes — not just herbicides.

Herbicide Policy (Example of Our Strict Controls)

Herbicides are not permitted in our facility or in any of our containers unless they are present only for controlled testing purposes.

If herbicides are required for testing, this is carried out under strict conditions, including:

  • dedicated equipment and containers

  • full segregation from production lines

  • strict cleaning protocols

  • controlled access and documentation

This ensures that no herbicide residues enter our standard production process, giving growers and distributors confidence in product safety and integrity.

6. In-Process Testing for Higher Consistency

For certain key products, we conduct testing during the manufacturing process to ensure higher quality and consistency.

This in-process testing confirms:

  • correct formulation and concentration

  • consistency across batches

  • product stability during production

  • adherence to defined quality parameters

This means you receive products that perform as expected, batch after batch.

7. Product Safety & SDS

We provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for our products to ensure safe handling, storage, and use.

SDS documents are available on request for all products.

8. BioGro Registered — Two Decades of Experience

Some DCT products are BioGro registered, meaning they meet recognised organic standards.

As part of this registration, we follow documented processes, including parallel production procedures to avoid cross-contamination and maintain integrity.

We have been working with BioGro since 2006, giving us nearly two decades of experience in maintaining these standards and procedures.

This long-term experience supports growers and distributors who require:

  • organic compliance

  • recognised certification

  • consistent production integrity

9. Documentation, Support & Retail Readiness

For growers, farmers and distributors, we can provide:

  • order number tracking

  • batch number records

  • test results where available

  • compliance information

  • barcode support for POS and inventory systems

For customers requiring additional verification, we can discuss third-party testing or product verification options.

10. Corrective Action & Complaint Handling

If a product issue is reported, we investigate, quarantine affected stock, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

11. Continuous Improvement

We continually review production processes and quality systems to improve consistency and performance.

What This Means for You

  • Consistent product performance across batches

  • Reduced risk of contamination

  • Clear traceability from order to delivery

  • Easy inventory and POS management

  • Confidence in supply, quality, and documentation
